The much-anticipated unveiling of the new CX-70 finally occurred! Per the announcement on Mazda’s Canadian website—the first place to drop the news—the big reveal happened on January 30th, 2024. This model has been the subject of much buzz in the automotive industry.

This new model will bear notable resemblances to the newer CX-90, released in 2023. The CX-70, however, is a 2-row SUV, differing from the 3-row configuration of the CX-90—the most prominent distinction between the two models. In regards to powertrain,each option features some degree of electrification. Drivers have the option between the e-SkyActiv G 3.3L Inline 6 Turbo engine with M-Hybrid Boost or the e-SkyActiv G PHEV.

Maintaining Mazda’s reputation for its seamless blend of luxury and affordability, the CX-70 is elegant and athletic. For an even more aggressive appearance, you may consider opting for the available sleek black metal and machine-cut finished 21-inch wheels. It’s just as beautiful inside as it is outside. The interior boasts premium materials and finishes, including exquisite gray metallic inlays. For an extra sporty look, opt for the red Nappa leather option with exquisite red stitch detailing. This luxurious choice draws inspiration from the iconic MX-5’s 100th Anniversary Special Edition. Additionally, the model offers a spacious and comfortable environment.
