The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently revealed its 2024 TOP SAFETY PICK and TOP SAFETY PICK+ winners. We are thrilled that Mazda had five vehicles win TOP SAFETY PICK+ awards, making them the individual brand with the most wins in this category, the highest award. The winners are the 2024 Mazda3 Sedan, Mazda3 Hatchback, CX-30, CX-50, and CX-90.

The IIHS President David Harkey said, “This year’s winners are true standouts, offering the highest level of protection for both vehicle occupants and other vulnerable road users.”

For 2024, the IIHS updated the standards to win the award, including front and side impact protection and daytime and nighttime pedestrian crash tests.
