First Official 2014 Mazda3 Pictures Surface

Have you seen any pictures of the redesigned 2014 Mazda3 yet? The folks at McDonald Mazda in Littleton, CO have, and we are quite impressed. And while we anxiously awaiting its arrival, we would like to answer some common questions / concerns regarding the new Mazda3.

A common question we have heard is, "What's under the hood?"

Early reports suggest you will have a choice. The new 2014 Mazda3 will come in a standard SKYACTIV-G 2.0-liter engine, which can crank out 155 horsepower and 155 lb.-ft. of torque. For extra power, opt for the SKYACTIV-G 2.5-liter engine which delivers 184 horsepower and 185 lb.-ft of torque.

And while some people are expecting to see a diesel engine offered in the 2014 Mazda3, we are still unable to confirm or deny this. Rumor has it Mazda will be sending a diesel engine over to the European market before making a production model here in the U.S.

It's worth noting that everything at this point is pure speculation, as Mazda has not made any official announcements regarding the diesel engine.

And while engine options are certainly a popular question, the bigger question is when will the 2014 Mazda3 be available for a test drive. The folks at McDonald Mazda are confident that the new Mazda3 will make its way to our Littleton Mazda showroom soon. As soon as we hear an official release date, we will pass this information over to you! In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns pertaining to our current Mazda lineup, feel free to contact us at any time.
