The new 2013 Mazda 6 is a sporty sedan that is charismatic in style and performance. The new generation of the Mazda 6 is a lot lighter in weight but larger in size and is engineered with some of the industry's most advanced fuel technology. Against it's main competitors are the Honda Accord and the Toyota Camary, the Mazda 6 puts up a great fight due to its high safety ratings, stylish appearance, environmental friendliness and economic value.

Usually sedans are large in frame and heavy in weight, causing the car to have a little more drag than the sport vehicles. Although the 2013 Mazda 6 is larger in size, it did drop some weight from its previous generation. The result was a more aerodynamic drive that is more stable on the road and uses less fuel. The new Mazda 6 has an upgraded body with sporty features such as flowing character lines, dual exhaust chrome tips, LED tail lights and RX-8 inspired fenders. The roomy cabin is equipped with more cargo and seating space that is extremely comfortable and offers more leg room than its competitors.

The new Mazda 6 has a radar detection system in which the system uses radar detection sensors to detect objects in your left or right blind spot. A warning light will appear in your in the appropriate side mirror letting you know that an object is close.

The Mazda 6 engine performs in two ways. The 2.5 DOHC 16-vakve 4-cylinder engine produces 170 hp while achieving 30 mpg, getting 500 miles on a tank of gas. The 6-cyliner engine gets 400 miles for a tank of gas and has been rated as an ultra low emission vehicle. This stylish sedan is also equipped with i-ELOOP technology which is quite impressive. The i-ELOOP technology is Mazda's unique brake energy regeneration system which begins charging a capacitor the moment the driver takes their foot of the accelerator. Electricity stored in the capacitor is then used to power electric components through the car, freeing the engine from much of its natural duties and providing a more fuel efficient vehicle.
